Looking for a delicious and easy-to-make treat for Halloween? Well, chocolate covered pumpkin pretzels are a tasty and fun treat to get you in the fall spirit.
What you’ll need:
1.bag a white chocolate chips
2. bag of pretzels
3. food coloring
4.Microwave safe bowl
First, put the white chocolate chips into a bowl and microwave them at increments of 30 seconds, about 4 times, or until completely melted. Make sure to stir the chocolate to ensure that all the chips are melted and you get a creamy batter.
Next, squirt 2-3 drops of orange food coloring to the melted chocolate and stir. You can also substitute a mixture of red and yellow food coloring to get orange.
After you’ve stirred the chocolate so it’s creamy and orange, take your pretzels and dip them into the chocolate. Flip the pretzels so the chocolate gets on both sides, and then remove with a fork.
With your left over batter, take about two table spoons of the batter and add green food coloring to the chocolate, to make stems for the pumpkins. You can add the green coloring directly to the left over orange batter, or you can set some of the batter aside in the beginning that hasn’t been dyed to use for the stems.
And there you go, after these steps you will have your own little pumpkin patch of chocolate covered pretzels. These are great snacks to bring to parties, or just to enjoy yourself!
