Letter to the Editor Guidelines

The Wood Word welcomes Letters to the Editor but cannot guarantee publication of every submission.

The Wood Word reserves the right to edit letters for length, grammar and style, as well as clarity and accuracy. While we respect and uphold the First Amendment right to freedom of speech, we adhere to a level of professionalism in which hateful or otherwise vulgar speech will not be tolerated. Submissions that do not meet these requirements or are beyond our ability to edit will not be published.
