Marywood University’s senior nursing students won The Geoffrey Allen Walp Memorial 7th Annual Student Nurse Challenge at East Stroudsburg University. Students are asked questions on nursing and the top school wins. The winner receives a silver nursing award and a $500.00 prize.
Participating schools included Luzerne County Community College, Schuylkill School of Nursing, Penn State University, Marywood University, Misercordia University, University of Scranton, Wilkes University, Thomas Jefferson University, Bloomsburg University, Mansfield University, East Stroudsburg University, and Pennsylvania College of Technology.
The Marywood students who participated were Susan Williams, Chelsea Riggall, Erika Drake, Kaitlin Gregory, Kristen Monahan, Lauren Lathwell, and Michelle Lewis.
