Undergraduate and graduate students now have the opportunity to earn the new Sr. Mary Scholarship and have it applied to their spring 2018 semester bill.

In order to qualify, students must participate in a preliminary social media contest this week. The winners will become “Marywood promoters” in the fall 2017 semester and compete for the two available scholarships of $1,000 and $2,000.

According to an email from Director of Students Activities and Leadership Development Kimberly Coleman, students can earn points each day by posting submissions related to the daily guidelines on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Students participating in the Sr. Mary Scholarship Competition must tag Marywood in all photos and email screenshots of their posts to [email protected]. Only one submission per person, per daily contest theme is allowed and posts must be respectful toward Marywood.

The full instructions for each day can be found on Marywood’s website.

The “Marywood promoters,” who will compete for the Sr. Mary Scholarship in the fall 2017 semester, will be announced on Monday, May 1.
