The Marywood community can expect to receive fewer emails starting this semester.

According to a memo from Marywood President Sr. Mary Persico, IHM, Ed.D, internal communication will be streamlined and centralized to benefit the Marywood community.

Instead of receiving several emails each week regarding various subjects like upcoming events and fundraisers, all announcements will be consolidated into one weekly email.

However, announcements from Campus Ministry, Athletics and the Student Activities Committee (SAC) will remain separate.

Persico said this new protocol will ensure that “emails that support and advance each of us in our role at Marywood University can be sent and received as clearly as possible.”

Notices can now be sent to [email protected]. The Marywood community will receive the first consolidated weekly announcement email on Monday, Sept. 11.
