The university awarded Dr. Ann R. Henry, former chair of the Board of Trustees, with the inaugural Presidential Mission Medal for her service and commitment to Marywood’s core values.
Henry received the medal at a recent Presidential Society Dinner. She earned the award for giving her “time, energy, talents and personal resources to the advancement of the university,” according to a press release.
Marywood President Sr. Mary Persico, IHM, Ed.D said she felt “delighted and honored” to name Henry as the first recipient of the award.
“In the name of our campus community, I thank Ann for her tireless efforts to support Marywood now and long into the future,” Persico said.
