Robin Trojanowicz, Copy Editor
NAME: Robin Trojanowicz
YEAR: 2012
MAJOR: Digital Media and Broadcast Production; Journalism (minor)
ABOUT: This is my first semester as Assistant Copy Editor for The Wood Word. I was born and raised in Northeast PA. Growing up as an only child, I was always using my imagination to make up games or stories to keep myself busy. I remember writing and illustrating my first story about my clumsy grandmother, entitling the story, “Messy Jessie.” Even at a young age I had a passion for writing. That passion soon turned into an obsession; finding small typos and errors became a hobby for me. It’s a blessing and a curse. As a fourth year Digital Media student just joining The Wood Word staff, I feel as though I missed out on doing something I love in those past semesters. However, I do feel as though I finally found my niche, and can hopefully pursue a career in Electronic Journalism in my future.
