The Gadabout Film Festival is making a stop at Marywood this week.
The Gadabout Film Festival is an internationally-touring short film program that features a collection of short films that are accessible to all kinds of film fans, from the hardcore connoisseurs to the casual viewers. Now in its 15th year, the festival has screened in 45 states, 12 countries and over 100 different cities.
The program will include narratives, documentaries, animations and more that vary in genre and content and aim to leave viewers feeling a wide range of different emotions. Marywood’s art department is sponsoring the event.
The first hour will feature screenings of 14 short films followed by another hour of Q&A and discussion with the co-producers of the festival Eric Ayotte and Charlie Jones.
The Gadabout Film Festival will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Room B of the Swartz Center.
